My name is Sam Walker. I'm a designer from Minnesota, interested in usability and interaction, aesthetic power, the intersection between future technology and traditional lifestyles, Japanese and Scandinavian architecture, sustainability, quiet revolution, and Roseanne.
I have a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Minnesota, where I studied buildings and what they're made of as well as general matters of design practice from 2007 to 2010. I believe good design also has an ethical imperative to be radically and holistically sustainable, and I'm trained in the empirical study of materials and manufacturing methods from this perspective.
